There are even some tracks I can't believe from Basiscape. Perhaps Kamikura, Kudo and Chiba have a bigger role than I expected. Or someone outside of the studio is there. I'm definitely tempted to check the credit as soon as possible (I was on the verge of watching it, but avoided )

    The composer team confirmed.

Glad to know everything related to music and sound was still entirely produced by Basiscape, as it sometimes sounded so different and fresh for them I had to doubt it a bit. I think Sakimoto is still Sakimoto, but newer or unexposed composers add stylistic variety to usual Basiscape sound. I really look forward to check the composer breakdown.

This has a sizeable chance of being the best Basiscape score to date.

I just checked on the gamerip (is it allowed to be discussed here?) and found a rock-based composition to be (I'm sure judging from the instrument samples) Sakimoto's which is really surprising to me. And other composers really went all out on this one!

I can't wait for the actual soundtrack to come out!

That's the admin and mod's decision, not mine, but meanwhile I think it's okay unless you post the link here. I'm also definitely interested in the rip. I haven't been as excited for a Basiscape soundtrack as I am in a long while.

Well, I'm afraid it's not much of an indication, as newer Basiscape members who go to Sakimoto's house for work get access to QLSO libraries (which dominates everything since FFXII). Even Noriyuki Kamikura, who isn't the most active in orchestral composition, used QLSO brass or whatever sounded like the same as Sakimoto's in Deltra Quest. But yeah, with your ears, it'd be moderately likely.

After listened to the whole rip (I've completed the game as well) I can only say Sakimoto's involvement in this project is very small. I'm so sure the (normal) final boss theme is Sakimoto's work because it sounds like a watered down medley of Vagrant Story and BOF5's boss themes (particular "Iron Crab"), this one is quite disappointing me. Overall, about 1/3 tracks truly catch my ears that I surely will buy the official OST for these tracks once it's published.
