Good day! I am the great and mighty Ultros!!!!!!!!!! GWA~!!!!! Many of you may have been wondering where I've been since the destruction of the world. I worked in the Colosseum for awhile but the people working there got on my nerves and the pension sucked so I bailed, after I ate them!! I finally realized what a bastard I had been for so long and decided to make a life change. Now only the beautiful things in life concern me. I settled down, started writing poetry and began to compose music. I came upon Mr. Sakimoto's works by chance and I must say they are devilishly delightful. I need to know if anybody can reference me into a favorite particular work on his soundtracks. To give you some idea of what I like to hear, I pretty much love everything... but I HATE OPERA, for obvious reasons, you understand.... I am a hopeless romantic, I love music that fills me with an air of mystery, sadness and hope. Got any suggestions???

Well, I'm gonna have to go with Vagrant Story as well. But since that isn't on the list, I'll go with Dragon Quarter (with Radiant Silvergun close behind that).

If, by "favorite particular work," you are talking about individual tracks, then I know just the one for you! I recommend "Bloody Excrement" from Final Fantasy Tactics because you inflicted that kind of damage on my characters, not to mention the song is vintage Sakimoto intensity. :wink:

Ultros where's your friend Chupon? "Tupon" I am a shoot'em up fan and would have to say Radiant Silvergun as my OST of choice. Don't get me wrong I love most if not all his works but there was something about his style when I was chasing the Creator "diamond" in the second half of stage 1 and stage 3 Part A & Stage 4 owns all shoot'em up soundtracks. :D My current OST of his is Ikaruga...wish he would release an official OST... :?

Interesting choice musically TJHV... not that I would ever take the time to read an email of a mere mortal such as yourself, I have way more important matters to attend ;) I am plotting the demise of the credibility of Mr. Locke, the "famous" treasure hunter and "prized"... bag of hot air. I intend to humiliate him in front of the world. As for your email Zophar, I am happy to see that someone remembers Master Chupon. After his brief cameo in Final Fantasy III the calls stopped coming in for the poor guy. Hollywood deserted him. His makeup artists gone. His wife left him. He has become resigned and drinks around the clock, incessantly. A word to the public: Master Chupon deserves your respect and admiration. A day will come when the glory will once again shower upon the multitalented and modest Mr. Chupon. YOU will all bow down to the mighty powers that be, or you will feel the wrath!!!!

Ultros have you forgotten Master Chupon went to the Final Fantasy 7 casting call? By changing his name to Master Tupon he was paid $200 gil a day and given a cellphone as an on call summons. Still one of my favorites I might add. :D Yo****aka Amano's art of you two in the FFVI artbook are fantastic. Makes me wonder if Celes made it out of that battle print with you alive... :?

Btw I'm the god of destruction and your stealing all my lines. Hee hee! :P

Zophar, I wish to inform you that Master Chupon is quite upset that you mistook him for his brother, Tupon of FF7. Although they are strikingly similar in appearance and name, I assure you that Chupon and his bro would ever suffer the displeasure of being confused for one another. They haven't been on speaking terms for a long, long time, more on that later. If I were you, I would apologize to Mr. Chupon immediately, that is, if you are digging the mortal coil as of right now.
