Lime Odyssey?

Apparently Mitsuda will be contributing music to an upcoming MMORPG from the developers of Ragnarok Online, called Lime Odyssey.

Don't ask where I found the tidbit about Mitsuda, some random forum. Could be just a rumor... then again, if they could hire Yoko Kanno to do a full two hours+ worth of original music for RO2, they certainly have the resources to contract the same from Mitsuda.

Mitsuda already confirmed it in his blog. He even employed Česká filharmonie for this project.

A sample (http://www.lime-on.co.kr/) is here, but it's synthesized. Honestly, I think I'm quite familiar with Mitsuda's recent dry orchestral style, but this track hardly sounds like Mitsuda to me. He says it's his though.

Beautiful. I wonder if Mitsuda is the orchestrator?

I'm also curious as to whether he will be doing the ENTIRE soundtrack. I hope so. :)

He let Natsumi Kameoka orchestrate the anime adaption of Inazuma Eleven and the CT remake, so I'm not sure if he is the orchestrator, although I think that's the case.

His recent blog entries imply he's at least transcribed music sheets himself.
