Yasunori Mitsuda's Procyon Studio has recently announced that the release of an arranged album, Destiny Dreamer's Alliance. This albums covers, needless to say, around half or so of the fares for Emience Symphonic Orchestra's small concert series of the same name. Unlike bootlegs you've tasted in youtubes, these tracks are newly recorded in a studio and of higher quality for that. Although the order form is written in Japanese I think you can order / they can ship your copy without problems so I'm posting this thread. Incidentally, as much as I doubt it'll sell out soon, only 3000 copies are printed.
As you notice, there are two tracks that was already included in the Odin Sphere soundtrack, and the rest is either Yasunori Mitsuda music (his two piano pieces are also directly from the previous albums), or Romeo x Juliet. Therefore, for me, this comes off being a small soundtrack of that flopped anime series: the first cours, especially the first several eps were very good, but it became gradually hard to enjoy. It accordingly lost much viewship, and suffered from poor DVDs sales. It explains why Sakimoto can't hire Emience, an allegedly cheapish but reliable orchestra on Druaga, again. Maybe a soundtrack release is hopeless unless Basiscape label staffs struggle.
I got my copy today, and I'm impressed with "Romeo x Juliet main theme" (despite snort-sounding noise). So lyrical, and it brings back what little the anime's earlier episodes wonderfully presented. I've not got round to hearing other tracks that much, but at least I don't regret buying it.
