Hello from a new member

Hey!

My name's Josh. I'm a 19 year old composer and student from England. I'm big fan of RPGs and their music and I saw a few names here I recognised so I thought I'd stop by and say hello.

I've written two solo piano albums and am currently working on my third. I also recently wrote the soundtrack for a PC game called Mr Smoozles Goes Nutso, released independantly by Steve Ince who worked on games such as Broken Sword and In Cold Blood. I'm still a novice to the VGM world but I'm aspiring to be like the greats here at CocoeBiz.

Hi Josh,
welcome and good luck with your composing.

The best way to gain experience is to keep training yourself through as many demos/projects as you can.

Even though piano-solo albums are fun and enjoyable personally, those might not help build up a work portfolio, so just keep on scoring on as many independant games as you can for gaining more experience. =)
