Hello,

I have recently began a project to "hopefully" create the world best and largest music encyclopedia. I hope one day it be a reliable resource for both students and teachers to use. At the moment it is being created using wiki software by a small group of contributors. It is slowly growing and in due time will hopefully become a great source for everyone.

Please tell me what you think of it

Any suggestions for improvement will be very much appreciated, or if you would like to know more information just ask.

Regards,

You've got a lot of work ahead of you to match even wikipedia's articles, much less a dedicated online resource such as the Grove dictionary. Still, best of luck to you. It's a nice concept and it would be nice to have a comprehensive encyclopedia that's free and has a clean layout.

Thanks for your support. As many contributors state, wikipedia is a general encyclopedia which does not cover topics to as much depth as musicians would like. So Music-Web is the free alternative to such paid encyclopedias as Grove
