Maybe it will sound weird to some, but I really want to make things clear.. I'm not good at all in copyright stuff, so maybe you can kindly explain to me about it.

I'm not talking about mp3s of released soundtracks. There are so many games that don't get soundtracks when they really deserve it. Is it legal to record the music from a game (via softwares) ? Since you don't pay for the music itself when you buy the game.... Since it's like recording something on TV on a tape... you don't pay for what you're watching yet you can freely put it on tape..... And is it different for all countries ? Cause I know that Canada laws have some subtle flaws on that subject...............................

I believe I read a while back that recording music from games is illegal, although it is fine if you record it under the fair personal use laws. But then again, I'm not an expert on copyright. ;)

Happy Birthday, by the way!

I asked Nintendo about it but I don't know if it was a computer that replied, but it wasn't helping at all...

I asked about legally of unreleased soundtrack, they reply with "Sorry we don't plan to release any album soon. Check out nintendo.com for news." Bunch of losers -_-

oh thanks for the happy birthday :D
