Shinji Hosoe seems to be on a roll in 2006 for being involved in 4 releases in January, so far, there is Under Defeat and his arrangemen on the Lufia Reprint Album. Then his arrangement on the Rogue Galaxy Premium Arrange Album. Ibara should also showcase his talents quite nicely. People know of his abilities with electronic music for the most part. But how many know about what he can do with rock music ? This is where Ibara comes in.

Judging from a few gameplay videos, the music has a very hard sound thanks to guitars and keyboard. A type of sound I haven't heard since Guilty Gear or Cyber Org if those ring a bell. Since I love both of the aforementionned albums, I'm naturally quite excited about this release. Makes me wonder how many prints does Cave do in one run for it to dry out completely within a few days O.o

At any case, the soundtrack page dedicated to it has some nice information which I've added to Game Music Revolution.

Ibara interests me as much that you claim it sounds similar to Guilty Gear and Cyber Org. But Hosoe has never really done anything quite like that, has he? It's also quite a hard purchase to make considering the price. Dr. Theresa better be good ;_;

EDIT: I forgot about Driving Emotion Type-S, silly me. Some nice quality synth rock tunes, from what I've heard.

There are some rock tracks on Driving Emotion Type-S, but there aren't as intense as what's on the other albums.
