I like every OST that I own, it's just that some I'm more used to put in the disc drive.

I don't have a favorite composer.

I am particularly fond of many soundtracks, but the cream of the crop imo are:

- The Rockman Zero series, I love all of them!
- Rockman X series, especially X8, X5, X6 and X7
- Castlevania SOTN (Dracula X)
- Legend of Mana

Good choice (was in my list too). BTW - have you heard the Seiken Densetsu/ Legend of Mana sound collections CD i mentioned in my list? The cover is of a man riding a chocobo in front of a yellow sun in an orange sky. I think you'd like it (if you could get hold of it).

I'd have to say Myst is one of my favorites...

It's always nice when you're in a puzzling situation and the music adds even more mystery to the confusion. It's awesome.

That's an interesting list...

I don't know about the ICO soundtrack. To simple to even be called ambience half the time. But the song 'You Were There' is still one of the most beautiful songs ever.

I've never paid much attention to the Myst soundtrack. I've been meaning to buy it though. I own the Myst 3: Exile soundtrack which is amazing and, hopefully, I'll get round to buying Myst 4: Revelation' soundtrack next month (which I've been meaning to buy since forever).

I'm glad you have Panzer Dragoon in there. Is it the first OST or are you referring to the who series (I ask this question to other game series' in your list as well, like the Myst one)?

I think I like Ico because of its simplicity and soft allure. I like a lot of the songs because they are almost meditative. Not captivating enough to listen intently. But enough to provide background music for a hectic day.

Each one that I listed, I meant the actual OST, not the whole series. I've heard other ones in the series, but I have mine narrowed down to a specific title.
