Motoi Sakuraba has made the music for all Tales games up to this point, Tales Of Phantasia, Destiny, Destiny II, Eternia and Symphonia..
And I read that it will come two-three new Tales games soon, does anyone know if he will be composing all soundtracks, or will they refresh the "tales" mood? lol

I also wonder what will be Motoi's next project..
I haven't heard any news.. anyone heard anything?
He always has projects on his hands though that bastard! LOL
Can't he pass over a Tales game to me! XD

I know that Sakuraba did not do Tales of Legendia (the style is more like an anime and is nothing like the music in the other Tales games). For his next game, I have no idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was either Tales of the Abyss or Baten Kaitos 2.

I'm hoping he'll do Baten Kaitos II. The first games music was amazing!

Legendia was developed internally at Namco and composed by Namco's sound staff member Masaru "Go" Shiina (who was involved with Mr. Driller series, Klonoa 2 and others before). All other main Tales games so far are developed externally by Namco Tales Studio (called Wolfteam until 2003) and composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Shinji Tamura. The upcoming Tales of the Abyss' composers are not confirmed (Namco never bothered doing something like that) but the trailer and gameplay music so far suggest it may again be this traditional duo team.

Nothing is really known about Baten Kaitos 2 so far, but if tri-Crescendo (which did programming and sound direction of the first part) is involved again one can expect Motoi Sakuraba to be involved again (tri-Crescendo's president is Hiroya Hatsushiba who worked as sound programmer together with Motoi Sakuraba for over 10 years now, first in pre-Namco Wolfteam, then tri-Ace and now tri-Crescendo).

And of course he is still working for Camelot so Mario Tennis Advance/Power Tour (to be released on November 18th in Europe, and on December 5th in North America) contains music by him as well as all of Camelot's prior games did. Camelot also mentions working on an RPG for Revolution, so that may be even some more scheduled work for Motoi Sakuraba.

Finally on his personal Japanese website Motoi Sakuraba mentioned that he is working on a new solo album (but one can expect it to take quite some more time to get finished considering his schedule).

Makes one wonder if he's ever overworked.

The official Japanese Baten Kaitos 2 website is online (http://www.monolithsoft.co.jp/baten2/index.html) now. Mr. Sakuraba is confirmed as composer there. I updated his English website hosted here to reflect that.
