As most of you (if not all) probably know Mitsuda has composed the music for a Vodafone game called "Deep Labyrinth" which is now being converted to the Nintendo DS.
Aside from being interested to know if this game will be released outside of Japan there is one other thing I would like to know. I have been to the official website of this game and there is one of it's music pieces playing in the background which I think is very astonishing. It reminds me of Chrono Cross.
So, does somebody know if there will be an Original Soundtrack to this game?

Seeing that it was a Vodafone game, I have high doubts there will be an Original Soundtrack. Though, like me, keep your hopes up and pray for one :D

Thanks for your answer! :)
Yes, back when it was just a Vodafone game I had my doubts, too. But now that it's becoming a Nintende DS game I thought chances might be a little bit better. I mean...the music has good quality.
Here is the link to the official website where this piece of music I mentioned is playing.

I can relate with you Damiano as when I first heard the Mitsuda track on the Deep Labyrinth webpage, it can be likened to a Chrono Cross tune. So I decided if a soundtrack is ever released for the mobile game, that I would gladly pick it up even if I've never played the game or if Mitsuda contributed only one track (which I'm not entirely sure if he only did one song). But, to my surprise when receiving the more recent Hopeful Weeds Newsletter, it included the 2004 Member Renewal Bonus CD featuring around five tracks that had the studio version of the Deep Labyrinth theme. :) The other four tracks are obviously Mitsuda tunes, but am not sure if they were featured in Deep Labyrinth. Regardless, they're all quite impressive. So just in case a soundtrack isn't set to be released you can try to get your hands on the 2004 Member Renewal Bonus CD, to find the song you're looking for. ;)

Does it cost anything to be a member of the Mitsuda fan club? I mean, if they give you CDs, they probably charge you something, right?
As for Deep Labyrinth, never heard of it, but I'm glad you told me about!
That Deep Labyrinth track sounds very nice, even if it's synthesized and still rather limited in sound quality, it compensates with the emotional impact it makes; it sounds very Chrono Cross, and perhaps even closer, Tsugunai. After all, Tsugunai had a lot of flute work very much like that Deep Labyrinth track has.
If you need something similar to tide you over, I wholly recommend the Tsugunai ~ An Cinniuint soundtrack.
Indeed there is a cost to join the Hopeful Weeds fanclub, as there is usually an annual fee upon joining for most fanclubs in general. As for the CD's, only those in Japan are able to purchase them separately in the Hopeful Weeds Goods Store, but fanclub members receive them from time to time along with the monthly newsletters.
