I just ordered this soundtrack and I was wondering are there any thoughts on it? I've seen mixed reviews so I'm curious. Thanks in advance!

I think it's very good. The music is mostly medieval and folk, similar to the music in the Lodoss War TV series, if you've seen that.

Yes I have and I really enjoy much of Lodoss' music...sometimes peaceful sometimes driving. Thanks for your opinion! With that comparison I looking more forward to it now!

I think it's a fairly decent cd. If you were expecting something along the lines of the more traditional Final Fantasy games, you'll be sorely disappointed. It has this constant folksy, ethnic medieval theme throughout. There's not much in terms of driving themes or dramatic music. The only recognizable theme on the cds are the two moogle tracks. Nonetheless, most of the tracks are suitable background music and will rarely grate on your nerves. It's also mostly accoustic music, which probably explains the limited musical feel on the soundtrack. Mmm.

I recieved the sountrack a few weeks ago and it took awhile to grow on me, but I'm really starting to enjoy it's musicality and I feel she did an overall nice job! Thanks for your advice!

I listened to this soundtrack sometime ago and for some reason I didn't llike it all that much. I bought the game several weeks ago, and after hearing the music as it flows with the game, I really began to like it. At which point, I went ahead and purchased the soundtrack. Kumi Tanioka did an excellent job composing this soundtrack to fit the game. It fits it like a glove.

Kazenone, performed by Yae, is a beautiful opening vocal which fits the opening cinematic extremely well. Some of my other favorite tracks include: The First Town, Departure, Echoes at the Mountain Peak, Prosperity and Tradition and well as a host of others.

If you're looking for something different and unique to listen to, I gladly point you in the direction of the Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Original Soundtrack. It might see odd to you at first (as far as the FF series goes), but it is very likeable...espeically once you've played the game of course.
