Dear Mr. Yasunori Mitsuda,

Don't you think an orchestral arrange album of Chrono Trigger, and/or maybe a piano arrange album of Chrono Trigger would be good ideas?

Personally, I wholeheartedly and thoroughly enjoyed the Chrono Trigger ~ Brink of Time jazz arrange album, but don't you still think the Chrono Trigger music also deserves orchestrated arrangements, and maybe piano arrangements?

Here are my suggested tracklists for both a Chrono Trigger orchestral arrangement, and a piano arrangement:

Chrono Trigger Orchestral Version:

01) Chrono Trigger (Main Theme/Crono's Theme)
02) Peaceful Days (Town 1000AD)
03) Wind Scene (600AD)
04) Guardia Castle
04) Manoria Cathedral [Imagine this with a live human chorus...ooh!]
05) Silent Light
06) Kaeru (Frog/Glenn's Theme)
07) People Who Threw away the Will to Live (Sad Song)
08) Lavos [With a live organ, that would be sweet!)
09) At the Bottom of Night (Second Sad Song)
10) Singing Mountain (Unreleased track, supposedly to a secret dungeon)
11) Chrono Corridor [As an Eastern-style orchestral piece!]
12) Zeal Palace
13) Warlock Battle (Magus's Theme...as a BOOMING orchestral piece! IMAGINE THAT!!)

Chrono Trigger Piano Version:

01) Peaceful Days (Town 1000AD)
02) Memories of Green (1000AD)
03) Wind Scene (600AD)
04) Secret of the Forest (Guardia Forest)
05) Manoria Cathedral
06) Silent Light
07) The Trial
08) Brink of Time
09) Silvard ~ Wings that Cross Time (Epoch Spaceship)
10) Black Dream
11) Crono & Marle (Musicbox Theme)

And just let me say, "Robo's Theme" and "Silvard ~ Wings that Cross Time" should've been on the Brink of Time jazz arrange album; they would've made perfect jazz pieces, and it seemed that, in the game, they were already there, and could only be improved with live instrumentation.

Hey, you don't happen to be Varius on the Chudah's Corner Forums do you?
I generally like your Idea. It would be great if Mitsuda accepts this idea.

While i would love to have orchestral/piano arrangements of Chrono Trigger, I would rather prefer a general arrangement. Instead of making ALL the tracks orchestral/piano vary it up a bit and arrange each track in a certain style that will best represent it.

Speaking of chrono arranges, Mr. Mitsuda's english page indicates he announced a Chrono Cross Arrange album for release in July 2005. It's mid-July and there's been absolutely no word on his site about this. I'd think if he were going to release it in July, it would've been announced by now since it's fairly high-profile. I found its release date strange anyway since he just finished a big project not 2 months ago. Just hoping it's still planned, even if we have to wait a bit longer. Anyone have any info?

Don't worry, its still being planned. Might have to wait a bit longer but it's still being planned.
