Hello!
How was the Final Fantasy Concert "More Friends" in L.A?
We'd like to hear your opinions from any of you who went to the concert.
(We may send your reviews to Square Enix and to some members of The Black Mages.)
Any reviews will be appreciated!
Thank you :)

Here are at least 4 people's opinions who attended the concert...
(Arcubalis, Naka, Taylor, and Quasi)

It's informal discussion between fans, but valuable information because of true opinions and critiques about what could have been better (from the perspective of vgm collector)

Hi Carl,
Thank you for the link. You didn't go this time, did you, Carl?

I see... so it wasn't that very good this time? (^^;
Well, I hope some different type of orchestra concerts will be held, not only FF music.

Thanks alot for the info!

Right, I only went to the Chicago show, but not the "More Friends" in California, since it would have cost me $300~$400 to fly over there for a weekend trip...

A lot of people felt insulted by "false advertising" about the Dear Friends cds that SHOULD have been LIVE cds, but instead were only OST version tracks, which anyone could make that compilation on their own if they wanted to...

And because of double stage shared by Orchestra & Black Mages, the limited time for the Mages to only play 2 songs really shortened their impact as they couldn't have time to play a variety of (better) songs, or solos, etc..

I wonder though, how much of the ticket money goes to Jean Michael Paul Productions, and how much goes to Square-Enix/Nobuo...

I'm guessing that the production company JMP gets to keep the biggest part of ticket sales, but I would love to find out some exact numbers, if anyone would have access to the money information...

Since they keep adding more Dear Friends shows in new locations across the USA, the logical conclusion would be that it is very profitable, but I'd like to find out just how much money they are generating per show...
