Just wondering if anyone else is addicted to the super-hyper-bouncy-cheery-kawaii songs from Galaxy Angel...

Of course...Been hooked on em since hearing the genius that is "Galaxy Bang Bang!" (the season 1 opener). Just picked up "GA Best Vocal CD" a few weeks ago and I've been keeping a steady stream of "GA de Fever", "GA de Shout" and "Angel Charge" for a few months now (and I was lucky enough to find an mp3 of "Angel Rock'n'Roll" floating around, which was the 4th season opener and hasn't been released on any vocal collection I know of).
I'm actually pretty surprised by the quality of the vocals. The five main seiyuu all work well together, so most of the Angel Tai songs end up getting lots of playtime, because I like how they all work together on top of the songs themselves. Seperately, I simply love the vocalists for Milfuelle (Ryoko Shintani) and Mint (Miyuki Sawashiro)...Shintani for being powerful, yet perky and Sawashiro for having almost a calm, relaxed cute tone. Neither one has put out a bad song on any of their CD's yet and they're probably the first two seiyuu I've thought about looking into their other albums for, outside of an anime series. I really like Ranpha's almost-unnaturally high pitched voice as well (Yukari Tamura), but some of her songs end up a bit flat...It's like, when they're awesome, they're really awesome, but when they're not awesome, they're skippable. The ones for Forte (Mayumi Yamaguchi) and Vanilla/Normad (Mika Kanai) seem to work well in the Angel Tai songs, but I've yet to become attached to either one. Kanai just never stood out (and she's mostly relegated to slower ballads anyway) and Yamaguchi is just a weird voice that doesn't always rub me the right way...She's basically a contrast for the 4 other high-pitched vocalists. But also, like I said, they all work best as a team.
As for my favorite songs...
Angel Tai-Galaxy Bang Bang (GA de Fever), Angel Rock'N'Roll, B-B Love (Angel Charge), Docchimo Kocchimo (Angel Charge...This is only Milfuelle, Mint and Forte, but it's probably my #2 overall favorite, behind Angel Rock'N' Roll. I WANT a translation of this), Angel Douki (GA Best Vocal CD), Mission T (de Fever...seems to be some kind of battle song.)
Milfuelle-Lucky Girl (de Fever), Boogie Woogie Troublemaker (Angel Charge), A****a no Tamago (de Shout).
Mint-Panpukin Princess (GA Best Vocal CD), Koi Suru Recipe (de Fever), Serenade (Angel Charge).
Ranpha-Little Secret (Angel Charge), Flower Revolution (de Fever).
Forte-Taiyou wa Moiteru (de Fever)...Not much else, though she is the highlight of Docchimo Kocchimo.
Vanilla-Tenshi no Inori (de Fever), Good Day Good Night (de Shout)
The show's pretty good as well, provided you're not looking for much in the way of storyline or coherency. Worth its' weight in character-based comedy value though. They need to release the DVD's faster...
Galaxy Angel...Shakey, shakey shakey...GO!

"Galaxy Bang! Bang!" got me hooked right away, too; I wathced the OP repeatedly just to hear that song.
I don't know for certain, but I'm pretty sure "Angel Rock'N'Roll" is available album-length on "Galaxy Angel Best Album 1" - BRCF-3043, which was just released this Feb. It's strange, http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BRCF-3043 says that this CD contains the TV-size version (why would you put a TV-size on an album?!), however this site http://www.netdirect.co.jp/search/ISSSchDetail.asp?ISBN=BRCF3043 has the time listed as 4:11, so I'm hopeful it's the full-length version. Within the next few months when I get the money I will order this album and I'll let you know for sure. Regardless, it will be worth getting for "Wake me up!" (a great song by Milfeulle & Ranpha), previously released only on the impossible-to-find and expensive X'mas 2003 CD.
If you can find it, get "Eternal Songs," the vocal album to the game "Eternal Lovers." I found mine at http://www.animegamersusa.com/. This CD has my favorite Forte song "Dan Gan Beat" (I didn't like her voice at first, either, but she's grown on me a lot). The only song I don't really care for is Vanilla's (her songs are my least favorite on any CD - as you said, too slow). "Eternal Love" is awesome, sung by all 5 tenshi. It's not hyper-sugary like most GA songs, however; this is a darker, more serious rock-orchestra song, but it's awesome, and something a little bit different.

Normally, the "Best" albums end up being compilations (see Urusei Yatsura, Ranma and Sailor Moon as recent examples of milking). I breathed a sigh of relief when the "Best Vocal" CD I got wasn't a compilation (LACA-5303) but rather new ones. That is weird though...Why would one place advertise a TV sized version only of Angel R&R? I think that is a mistake on CDJapan's part...
I dunno...I cringe at the thought of getting another CD that has B-B Love and Sorry! on them. I think I've worn the notes out of both songs by hearing them too much. They need to get cracking on some new vocal collections! Luckily, the series seems to still be going strong in Japan, so there's a good chance of that happening.
The GA season 1 opening is one of those things that makes anime such a distinct artform...There's nothing else quite like it (and frankly, a lot of people who see it aren't going to really get into it...GA in general seems to be a black and white love/hate thing for most people, anime fans included). The part with Milfuelle and Mint playing maracas always cracks me up for some reason...Okiraku Kaanibaaru indeed.

Thankfully you're right! Currently Broccoli is releasing brand-new character singles: http://www.broccoli.co.jp/frame/01.html So far Milfeulle, Ranpha, & Mint have been released, Mint's street date being today! The next three (Forte, Vanilla, & Chitose) will be released one per month through August.
Personally, I'm going to wait on these. The first set of character singles were compiled onto Fever, and many of the second-series character singles were released onto Angel Charge. Unfortunately Angel Charge was just a sampling of the second series. However, some of these have been put onto Best Vol. 1&2, which, yes, have a lot of duplicates, they also have a lot of new songs I don't have.
It looks like they're making a new game, too, but I can't read Japanese. If we're lucky they'll release character songs for this game like they did one of the older games, because the Eternal Songs CD is one of my favorites! (I'm actually not sure which game these songs came from...)
