(Kahori as a game music fan) I think this album is one of the BEST of his works.
The symphonic tracks by the full orchestra are really good, Mr. Ito wrote the score to the orchestra, so the music really has his taste. The battle tracks are also arranged by the members from The Black Mages.

(CocoeBiz) We will have the special interview of this Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song music, hope it would be a tip of "Inside the Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song" and will give the listeners to expand the world of RSMS!

Thanks!!:)

Thanks for the info, Kahori (a.k.a Cocoebiz :D). And I agree with Karizuma, we need MP3 samples.

Oh yes, and I might as well chime in with this:

I've enjoyed Kenji Ito's arrange albums for the Romancing SaGa series: La Romance, Eternal Romance, and Windy Tale.

The first is a French-style arrange of music from the first Romancing SaGa, while the latter two are orchestral-style arranges of the second andf third Romancing SaGas, respectively, and I strongly encourage Kenji Ito and Romancing SaGa fans to pick up at least Eternal Romance and Windy Tale, Windy Tale most of all.

La Romance is more for people who can appreciate the French style of music, or for people who can pick up an acquired taste.

I'd get Romancing SaGa ~ Minstrel Song without hesitation, but my new policy is not to purchase anything until I've sampled it.

If you like RS1's music (and RS2-Frontier), you'll almost definetly like it.

When you say Romancing SaGa 2 ~ Frontier, do you, by any strange chance, mean SaGa Frontier II?

No, I mean RS2 through Saga Frontier 1 (RS2, RS3, SF1)

I've been there, listening to Kenji Ito's work since the compositions he did for the SaGa games on the Gameboy.

It's good to see Ito do a new work, after not having anything for a relatively long while.

The orchestral and acoustic tunes on this soundtrack are superb, and the rock and techno tunes are good.

I'm glad to see a return of the theme, "Lost in the Forest," as well as the return of "Heartful Tears," renamed on this soundtrack as "Wiping away the Tears."

Ito's work has a very warm, bright aural feeling to it, and I like listening to it on the beach.

Also appreciated, was the inclusion of Romancing SaGa ~ From a Window. 11 tracks made from arranging a single theme. Brilliant, and it never got old! It just amazed me how many arrangements he could make out of one composition.

An excellent soundtrack, and an excellent addition to any game music lover's collection!
