So, if I liked the Final Fantasy X Original Soundtrack, what other music is there out there, either video-game music or mainstream music (both U.S. and non-U.S.) is similar to it, and that I should look for?
I liked the relaxed, dreamy, almost new age-ish sounds of the Final Fantasy X Original Soundtrack, and I like it the most of any Final Fantasy Original Soundtrack. In which case, I'd like to hear more music like it, if anyone here can recommend any.

Well, the tracks you've come to like are undoubtedly Hamauzu's work, so the easiest recommendation would be his other scores like Unlimited: SaGa or Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon. The thing is, he reinvents his sound so often that you're not going to find exactly the same kind of "new-age" type music as you did on FFX -- but you will find quality music nonetheless, and the Hamauzu mark is definetely there.
Nakano also had some tunes that could fit your description ("Underwater Activity", "Guadosalam", etc.); for him you'll likely find something to enjoy with Another Mind or even Dewprism.
But if you want to know the truth, there isn't really anything like FFX's score (concerning Hamauzu's and Nakano's work), so you'll just have to rely on the composers rather than the style of music. But that's not really an issue, as you can't go wrong with either of these fine musicians. Best of luck to you.

Well said, Jormungand. Personally, FFX opened up the Hamauzu door for me. As much as I've tried NOT listening to Saga Frontier 2 so I don't wear it out, it's just not that easy. :)
Recently, Musashi Samurai Legend was released in the States, and it was discovered that Hamauzu and Nakano were behind most of the music. Sooner or later, it'll be released in Japan, and hopefully the soundtrack will follow shortly. From what I've heard so far, it's just great.
