I must say the following "could change" but I've had these three s/t's for about 2 weeks and have formed some fairly specific opinions, but in the world of soundtracks, sometimes a lesser loved s/t can become an all time fave:)

Rockman Zero: Idea (2) - My fave of the 3. Easily. The songs are well layered and this is currently my "jogging disc". Track 17 Platinum being a personnel fave though many could catch it. 9/10

Rockman Zero (1) - This was the first of them I heard, I tried to play them in order and was totally blown away by the "instrument" quality. I love many of the songs here but the downside is I do not understand Japanese and this disc is littered with the "drama" tracks. Easy to skip but tends to become tedious. 8/10

Rockman Zero Telos (3) - This third disc I've listened to the least but is hard to get into. It seems top-heavy with slow orchestra inspired trax and while they are all well done and the quality is supreme it is a bit slow. 7/10

Overall, well worth the money I spent and I highly reccomend any of these to fans of Zero. The sound quality is amazing and the artwork is breathtaking.

I only have the Telos one. I was planning to buy the other two, but I was too late, once again :(

But I must say that if you say the Idea is easily the best, then I'm eager to be able to order a copy, as I really like Telos.

Yeah, pursue Idea. Keep checking in till they come back which I'm sure they will.

About Telos; could be my least fave because I have played that game the least but honestly the first 5 or 6 out of 10 tracks seem to weigh it down. Of course I'm sure it is merely structured that way for the games sake but it still seems to weigh it down. Though this is all personnel preference so no insults are intended.

What did you think of Telos? The second disc of Telos for me was practically a complete loss :(

The game RMZ3 was a bit more serious and mysterious than the first two, therefore the OST had more serious/dark/orchestra songs and less upbeat rock songs, thus Telos reflected that. Some of these songs sound more like they belong in Final Fantasy than Rockman. I personally don't think that's so bad, though. I liked Telos better than the first Remastered Tracks, but Idea is still the best. The original RMZ OST & RT felt a bit underdeveloped; I think the songs could have gone further. Both the 2&3 OST and Idea & Telos songs had much more depth than the first.
My favorite VGM are battle songs, and that's where 3/Telos was a bit disappointing. Scrapped Beat was good, but way too short. Cannon Ball was a good battle song, but it didn't sound like a final battle song. Supreme Ruler and the original Crash were awesome and much more memorable.
Of course, all three albums are great, and I recommend all of them to any Rockman fan.

Although.........

The more I'm listening to Telos, the more I'm liking it. I love Track 4, and then at about Track 7 it really breaks the shackles of that sort of slow tempo vibe... flat out, they all 3 rock!
