I listened to some of the 40 second samples of the PSO Episodes 1 & 2 Premium Arranged album CD but I didn't really notice that much of a difference between the arranged version and the original version. Does anyone know what style/genre the artists are basing their arranged versions on (i.e. FF:Black Mages was Hard Rock)? Does anyone have any more info on the PSO Premium Arranged album? I'd like to know how long each track is so I can tell if they are actually longer than the original tracks and thus know if they have a lot of new stuff in them. I would like to get this album but I need to know more about it first. I was hoping to hear more of an arranged-type music for the 40 second samples but they just had the very beginning of the songs so you can't really hear the middle or end of the track (which is usually where the arranged part and new stuff comes in). I would have preferred a 40 second sample of the tracks in the middle of the song or a longer sample of each track. I'm grateful that they have samples of the CD but I don't notice very much of a difference between these arranged tracks and the original music. If anyone has any more info on the arranged album, please post it here.

Thanks.

Nevermind. I listened to the samples some more and they definitely do sound arranged. I guess the ones I listened to before were the ones that stayed true to the original versions. If anyone has the track lengths for the CD, please post them here.

Thanks.

I just heard the samples of this soundtrack, and it does sound like each music is the same as the previous soundtrack " Phantasy Star Online-Songs of Ragol". The only difference in all of these tracks is that each of them are composed by various artists, which is good because every song is arranged differently. Hopefully, I hope when I buy this CD, these songs are longer than 30-40 second samples on Cocoebiz website.

Just got the CD yesterday, and it's awesome! For those of you concerned with them sounding identical to the OSV, don't worry, these are definately arrangements. The songs average 5 minutes each, longer than the originals averaging 2 minutes each. The songs are mostly rock/orchestra arrangements, and any PSO veteran will recognize the themes.
