Does anyone know if you can get a CD of the Golden Sun tracks? :?:

Sadly, there's no official release of Golden Sun music.
...yet?
Some time ago, a poll was posted here at CocoeBiz, asking what kind of albums the fans wanted to see. Golden Sun was on that list.
So there may be hope... :)

I've been doing some rips of the game's sound test. Now, out of sheer lack of time I can't do all of them, but if there are a particular few you'd like...

Both games have been recorded and the recordings are well-circulated, so save your effort.
The survey's been there quite a long time... And Motoi Sakuraba is a very busy person thanks to his talent. But, it can't hurt to try (http://www.cocoebiz.com/survey/index.php), and the chances are always better if new people find and answer the survey.

I tend to use my GBA as a MP3 player since it has a sound check on it. If you need to know how to get the sound check, you must do this:
Go to the Battle Mode on the main menu screen.
In the Lobby of Battle Mode go to left until you find two ladies in the corner.
The one closest to SW point of the room is the one you want to speak to.
Press L or R button and begin to speak to her.
I use this every time I work, and I must say thanks to CAMELOT for giving us the Sound Check.
Note, you must totally complete the game to get all 96 tracks.

I wish I could appreciate the Sakuraba tunes from Golden SUn a little more. I can't really gauge the quality of the musical idea due to the fact that GBA has the crappiest speakers imaginable.

Easily fixed.
Either plug in the headphones. or seek out the GBA Player for GameCube. That will CERTAINLY increase your respect for this music. :)

Yes i know this is an old thread...
Golden Sun, while not having the most supreme of melodies, had some excellent composition! (I'm pretty sure the majority of fans appreciate his deep compositions more than his melodies, which is not to say his melodies are bad) I was truly amazed at how many sound channels the GBA could produce. The tracks, as they are currently written, could EASILY become orchestrated with little effort. *wink wink*
