Thanks to the quite complete discography, i discovered that Shinji Hosoe worked on most of my favorites arcade soundtracks! :D

- Dirt Dash & Final Lap series, great funky racing tunes.
- Ridge Racer series, typical 90's techno beats which fits perfect to the game style.
- Dragon Spirit series, great melodic shooter tunes.
- Street Fighter EX series, many different music styles in these with great melodies.

So thanks for all these great soundtracks to Mr. Shinji Hosoe. 8)

I'm very glad Mr. Hosoe gets worldwide recognition now, thanks to this website. Hopefully, more people will seek out this amzingly talented composer. His works in iS : Internal Section, Bushido Blade and Driving Emotion Type-S are all amazing works of art... I hope to be able to hear his Sampling Masters CDs to see how he fares in the non-vgm universe. While I do own 2197 and love his pieces in it, it's not enough to prove his talent outside of video games.

So I wish Mr. Hosoe the best of luck with his current projects, whatever they might be.

Can't say i've heard any of his music. However I did just recently win the Victorious Boxers PS2 game off ebay since I love the anime it's associated with so much (Hajime no Ippo). While looking at his discograph I noticed that Mr Shinji Hosoe did the music for this game, so I'm looking forward to hearing it.

Can't say I'm too familiar with him, but his music in Ridge Racer and Street Fighter EX are amazing. I would like to extend a hand of welcome Mr. Shinji Hosoe and enjoy the forums! Keep up the amazing work!
